Best classes to come to
If you are a beginner to yoga we recommend the following classes:

Monday - 18.00-19.00 6 week Yoga Beginner Course - next course starts 15th of February
Monday - 19.45-21.00 - Forrest - Open class
Tuesday - 10.00-11.15 - Hatha - Basics
Tuesday - 19.45-21.00 - Jivamukti - Beginner vinyasa
Wednesday - 19.30-20.30 - Hatha - Beginner Course - next course starts 10th of March 2010
Thursday - 19.30-20.30 - Ashtanga - Beginner course - next course starts 25th of February 2010

Hatha- gentle yoga
Jivamukti - dynamic yoga, physically challenging and mentally stimulating
Forrest - intense, but slow moving

Alternatively, the following classes are still suitable for beginners, but encompass more complex poses:


Tuesday - 19.00 - 20.15 - Gentle Yoga
Thursday - 10.00 - 11.15 - Hatha Yoga
Friday - 18.00 - 19.15 - Forrest Yoga
 

Do I have to become a member?
No, you don't have to. Although Equilibrium offers memberships you don't have to commit to any number of classes. Pay as you go options are always available. If you start  Please look under prices for further details.

What to bring and wear
Please wear comfortable clothing in which you can stretch easily. Track suit bottoms or leggings and a T-Shirt are fine. Although mats are provided, we recommend to bring your own mat. Mats can also be purchased from the centre.

Other
Avoid eating heavy meals at least 2 hours before the practice.  
Please arrive about 5-10 minutes before your first class, so you have enough time to fill out a registration form and discuss any concerns you might have with your teacher.
